KING MEETS THE DAM-BUSTERS
The King and Queen of Britain visited a Lancaster station of R.A.F. Bomber Command and met members of the crews which
carried out the spectacular and successful attack on the Ruhr Valley Dams. Their guide was Wing-Commander G. P. Gibson, who for leading the attack was awarded the V.C. He already holds the
