local council, the job seems dreary after Harry's high position with the Ger-man occupation force. He plans change.
The story shows in a humorous light the experiences of a young married couple hack in England after wartime service in Europe. Both high-spirited and adven-turous, they rebel against the everyday frustrations of civilian life.
4 REGIMENTAL DINNER decide
Harry to try his fortune elsewhere, and without an idea in his head he
throws up his job with the council.
r^ PROSPEROUS secretarial agency run with aid of
girl friend (Diane Hart) is Anne's answer to Harry. As paying sideline the two girls also hire out as dancing partners to lonely Americans. This annoys Harry.
£ FINANCED by eccentric Lord Haverstock (A. E.
Matthews) and his lovely daughter Diana (Moira Lister), Harry starts a new business, "Roving Res-taurants," selling good foods from a mobile canteen.
y CATERING for a dinner given by Lord Haverstock
establishes Harry as manager of expanding business. Anne is jealous of Diana and Harry is jealous of Anne's social engagements with American visitors.
g DRESSING for one last date, Anne delightedly dis-
covers she is booked to escort Harry. Realising thai marriage means more to her than a career, Anne decides to relinquish outside interests for full-time domesticity.
