Sir,— I was glad you gave space (Courier-Mall, April 21) to the fact that the Queensland Medical Association is planning "an extensive educational campaign against the evil of abor-

tion." The majority of married women do not realise the frightful injury they do to themselves and to their possible future children by an abortion. A sound education in ' general human physiology should be given to every young per-son between the ages of twelve and sixteen, so that all may understand the mechanism of every important part of the body.
