Four batteries have commenced work at Pine Creek and the Union. The Standard crushed 100 tons, from which 200 ounces of amalgam were obtained. It is a slight case, and he has been admitted to bail. The new steam launch Palmerston performs the voyage to Southport in three hours, which is a great advantage.
