TODAY'S LETTER.

"I remember my mother using Vel-vet for all washing purposes, as it always made the clothes whiter and produced a. better lather, and in ad-dition it always left her hand soft, instead of being rough and tender'. Naturally when I married, I ordered Velvet on my first grocer's list, as I knew there was no other soap to equal it. When washing over linos, I find Velvet leaves quite a non-slippery gloss: and for scrubbing, scouring, and polishing all kitchen articles, including crockery and woodwork, I find it indispensable."

From Mrs. WOODRUFF,
