ALEXANDER.—On the 30th June, at Clare-mont Villa, Rutherglen, near Glasgow, Marion Thomson, the beloved wife of Mr. Thomas Alexander, and sister-in-law of John Alexander, Onetree Hill, aged 31 years. BIGGS.—On the 12th September, at her mother's residence, Mrs. Ann Jeffries, Bowden, Elizabeth Hall Biggs, wife of Stephen Biggs, after a long and painful illness, which she bore with Christian fortitude. COLLEY.—On the 21st September, at the Primitive Methodist Parsonage, Wellington-square, North Adelaide, the Rev. William Colley, aged 44, for many years a missionary in the Australasian Colonies. MELLOR.—On the 10th September, at her residence, Franklin-street, in the 29th year of her age, Eleanor Emma, the beloved wife of Thomas F. Mellor, mourned by a large circle of friends. She sleeps in Jesus. NASMYTH.—On the 30th September, at Adelaide, Lieutenant-Colonel David Jobson Nasymth, Royal Engineers, aged 41 years. NEVILLE.—On the 16th September, at his residence, Tam O'Shanter Belt, Samuel Neville, aged 67 years. He arrived in this colony in 1836 in the John Pirie, and leaves a wife and six children and a sister here. Essex papers please copy. NIENABER.—On the 20th June, in the Northern Territory, Alphons Emiel, second son of Heinrich and Maria Nienaber, Kent Town, aged 19 years. ORCHARD.—On the 11th September, at his residence, Angas-street, Joseph Orchard, late of Ponsonooth, Cornwall, in his 72nd year. PEPPER.—On the 9th September, of dropsy, at Carrington-street, Harriet, the beloved wife of Mr. John Pepper, aged 65 years—a colonist of 23 years. POTTER.—On the 21st September, at her residence, near Lyndoch Valley, Jane, relict of the late Peter Potter, aged 82 years. Formerly of Lewes, Sussex. A colonist of 32 years. SIMS.—On the 7th September, at her resi-dence, Jemima, the beloved wife of Mr. Thomas Sims, aged 50 years, a colonist of 25 years. Respected by a large circle of friends. STANTON.— On the 21st September, at Lefevre's Peninsula, John Thomas, third son of Richard Stanton, aged 22 years. STEWART.— On the 3rd October, at Ade-laide, Alexander Stewart, late of Montrose, Scotland, aged 29 years. Home papers please copy. TAYLOR.—On the 20th September, Mr. George Taylor, of Onetree Hill. He was a native of Ireland, and one of the early pioneers of the colony, having arrived in the William Nicol, 31 years ago. His upright and honourable cha-racter made him greatly respected. He leaves a wife and numerous family to mourn their loss. WALTERS.—On the 12th September, at the residence of her stepson, Carrington-street east, Margaret Walters, of cancer, after much suffering, aged 51 years. WIESE.—On the 20th September, at Port Adelaide, Albert William, the youngest son of Mr. F. Wiese, aged 18 months and 18 days WILLIAMS.—On the 26th September, at her residence, Strathalbyn Mine, Maria Williams, the beloved wife of Thomas Williams, aged 49 years, after an illness of two years.
