MARRIAGE. RANKINE-BEEVOR.— On the 18th August, at the Ferry, Hindmarsh Island, by the Rev. John Anderson, Wm. Rankine, Esq., of Hind-marsh Island, to Harriet Alicia, third daughter of the late Captain H. C. Beevor, Madras, Retired List. DEATHS. BROOKS.— On the 28th June, 1870, at Stock-port, Joseph Brooks, of White Field and Heaton Norris, aged 65 years, grandfather of Mr. Joseph Brooks, S.A. Civil Service. IFOULD.— On the 30th August, at his resi-dence, South-terrace, Mr. Henry Ifould, late of Preston, Andover, Hampshire, aged 84 years. HARRINGTON.— On the 28th August, at Childers-street, North Adelaide, of marasmus, Rupert Dudley, son of James and H. Harring-ton, jun., aged six and a half months. HORNE.-On the 23rd June, at 10, Athole Crescent, Edinburgh, Donald Horne, Esq., of Stirkoke, Writer to the Signet, in the 84th year of his age, and brother to Mrs. McFarlane, Wakefield-street, Adelaide.
