Cinesound Signs Up Will Mahonev

Cinesound to star in a comedy, which will go into production early in June. 'This is the most important contract that has been signed at Cinesound,' said Mr. Ken Hall, who will produce and direct the film, 'as Mahoney is the highest paid star we have ever signed up. In fact, I think he's the highest paid stage artist ever to have toured Australia. Bob Geraghty, who has composed many of Mahoney 's numbers including his popular song, 'She's My Lily,' will be song writer for the film. The lyrics will be written by Mahoney. Mahoney has already made a film in England with Will Fyfe— the immensely successful comedy, 'Said O'Reilly to McNab.' .
