as 'Thoroughbred,' and will be shown In 400 cinemas in the United Kingdom. Announcing the sale to British International Pictures, Wardour Ltd., by cable message, the managing director of cinesound Productions Ltd- (Mr. Stuart Doyle) says this is the ' first time an Australian film has been sold oversea, before it has been completed or viewed. The terms of the sale call for the payment of substantial cash guarantees and a percentage of gross earnings. 'Orphan of the Wilderness,' which Is based on a story by the Australian authoress, Dorothy Cottrell, is nearing completion in Cinesound's Sydney studios.
