Brighton Races. UNDER the Superintendence of tho South Aus-tralian Jockey Club. First Bay.— Thursday, lith February, 1850. FIRST RACE. — PRODUCE STAKES. For all horses dropped in the colony ; ttvo guineas entrance, sovereigns added ; mares and geldings to be allowed 3 lbs. ; one mile and a half heats. SECOND RACE. — BRIGHTON PLATE. Three guineas entrance, with sovereigns added ; for horses of all denominations. THIRD RACE. — HACK STAKES. For all untrained horses ; post-entries, one guinea, with sovereigns added. Second Day. — Friday, 15th February. FIRST RACE. — LADIES* PURSE. Two guineas entrance, with sovereigns added ; for horses of every denomination ; the winner of the Brighton Plate to carry 10 lbs. extra ; mares and geldings allowed 3 lbs. SECOND RACE. — HURDLE RACE. Two guineas entrance, with sovereigns added. THIRD RACE. — BEATEN STAKES. Post-entrance, one guinea, with sovereigns added ; to be handicapped by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint. No person allowed to start a horse, except a subscriber of at least one guinea to the fund.
