RAMS FOR PASTORAL AREAS.

The demand for Merino rams in the Port Hedland, Marble Bar and nullagine areas following the excellent rains which have fallen has resulted in further ram shipments being effected. A breeder who has been prominent is Mr. J. BarrettLennard, of Munthoola, Williams, whose Bungai ee blood rams are always popu-lar tn the north. The first delivery from

[ Munthoola was the annual draft of 50

flock rams for the estate of the late E. J. 'Beart, of Bamboo Springs, Nullagine, and another consignment of 50 flock rams was delivered to Mr. C. L. Kerr, of Wal-lareenya!), station, Port Hedland. From Broomehill two drafts have been drawn from Messrs. F. S. Thompson and Co., of the Nardlah stud. The first consign-ment was one of 50 flock rams which went to Mr. N. E. Spry, of Mandora station, Port Hedland, whilst to the same district went another draft of 50 rams to Messrs. Edkins and Co., of Indee station. Also from the Broomehill district went 50

highly-bred Peppin blood rams selected j from Mr. N. Anderson's Condeena stud, by Messrs. T. A. and A. E. Hardie, of Boodarrie station, Port Hedland, who have been using these rams with marked success for several years. Recent deliveries of Merino rams from prominent Great Southern studs concluded with a batch of 50 flock rams supplied by Messrs. R.
