WOODANILLING.

The improvements to the railway station yard have been commenced at last. The weighbridge, tracking yards, and the enlargement of the yard will ba much appreciated.

Satisfaction is expressed that tenders have been called for the erection of school quarters", school enlargement, and fenc-ing.

Farmers are cutting an extra quantity of hay this year. The last rains promise to give a good grain sample.

A rather novel church service was held at Dumbleyung South on a recent Sunday, when the Rev. W. Kennedy immersed two vounjr men in Mr. J. Webb's dam. -
