CLACKLINE FIREBRICK

COMPANY.

(See Illustrations.)

The exhibit of the Clackline Firebrick Co.. Perth, W.A., at the A.N.A. Exhibi-tion, was described as a novel one, and stall No. 31B excited considerable curi-osity. The exhibit consisted of an as-sortment of fire lumps, fire bricks, and fire clay. There were three sets of ex-hibits. No. 1 was a set of firebox arches, such as are used on the West Austra-lian railways; No. 2. a special collection of fire bricks, similar to ones used at Perth gasworks; the third lot brass foundry fire lumps, being a facsimile of those used at the Midland Junction Railway Workshops. Clackline, the town from which the goods take their name, is situated on the Eastern rail-way line, and is close to the company's

works.

Mr. A. A. Hunter, the firm's repre-sentative, has been on a visit to Victoria with the object of opening up trade there for the supply of these goods. Messrs. Bunning Bros, are agents for the company. in Wellington-street, Perth.
