DOMESTIC INSTRUCTION.

Country Railway Tour.

Arrangements have been made by the Railways Commissioners and the Depart-ment of Agriculture to repeat the experi-ence of arranging a tour of the domestic section of the Better Farming Train, apart from the other sections of the train. The domestic cars were run on a tour in the Gippsland district late last year and were visited by thousands of women. The full Better Farming has been temporarily docked, and no tours will be held in the harvest season. The tour of the domestic

cars will begin on February 8.

The domestic economy demonstrations on the train deal with baby welfare and cookery and needlework, and the experts from the Education department and the Baby Health Centres Association will ac-company the cars and give lectures and demonstrations, which will begin at half-past 10 o'clock each morning, and continue throughout the day. The following itinerary has been arranged:—

Koo-wee-rup, February 8; Korumburra, Febru-ary 9; Meeniyan, February 10; Toora, February

11; Fish Creek, February 12; and Leongatha, February 13.
