GOVERNMENT NOTIFICATIONS.

Abridged from the Government Gazette.

TENDERS FOR RUNS.-It is notified that tenders for runs referred to as the Pastoral Districts of Kennody and Mitchell, and which it was said would be only kept open by the Sydney Government until the first Monday in February, will not be entertained by the Queensland Government until the first Monday in August, 1860. Persons tendering are informed that such tenders will only be received and entertained in the event of the existing Land Regulations re-maining in force up to that time.

PASTORAL BOARD.-The Honorable the Colonial Treasurer, the Surveyor-General, and the Clark of the Executive Council, have been appointed a "Board" for the purpose of opening tenders for runs beyond

the settled districts.

SURVEYOR-GENERAL.-Augustus Charles Gregory, Esq., is appointed Surveyor-Ge-

neral of Queensland.

COLONIAL ARCHITECT. - Charles Tiffin, Esq., is appointed to this office.

SURVEYOR OF ROADS-Francis Edward Roberts, Esq., is appointed to this office.

CUSTOMS' APPOINTMENTS.-Tide Surveyor at Moreton Bay and second officer of H. M. Customs at this port, Alexander Macdonald, Esq. ; Landing Waiter and Inspector of Bonded Warehouses in Brisbane, William Haynes, Esq. ; Chief Clerk and Shipping Master, Daniel Rountree Somerset, Esq,; Locker, Mr. Denis Guerin ; Permanent Tide Waiter, Mr. William Connolly ; Office Keeper, Messenger, and Keeper of the Pow-der Magazine, Peter Hartley.

GOVERNMENT PRINTING. - Tenders are invited, until the 16th of January, from persons willing to print and publish the Government Gazette, and also occasional printing required. A further notice specifies that the Gazette will be for the present on sale at the office of Mr. T. P. Pugh, Albert-street, at threepence for each number.

PUBLIC MONIES.--All monies payablo to the Government after 1st December, 1859, are to be remitted to the Colonial Treasurer's Office.

CUSTOMS' DEPARTMENT.-Tenders for the supply of articles required for the Customs' department are invited up to January 9th,
