LACROSSE.

A meeting to form a lacrosse club, to be called the Knightsbridge Club, was held at the Marryatville Hotel on Monday evening, Mr. J. W. Reed occupying the chair.

It was proposed by Mr. Maclaren, and seconded by Mr. Douglas, that the club be formed under the rules of the Adelaide Lacrosse Club. The motion was carried unanimously. Fourteen members having given in their names as being willing to join, a provisional com-mittee was appointed, consisting of Messrs, J. W. Reed, J. G. Douglas, G. H Cousins, W. Burnett, S. M. Turner, and Maclaren (hon. secretary and treasurer).
