Snowstorms occurred at Wagga Wagga, Orange, Tumut, Gundagai, Coota-mundra, Yass, Junee, and elsewhere. At Gundagai the fall was nearly 5in., and at Adelong 9in. Snowballing was general, and in honour of the unusual weather high-holi-day was proclaimed in some townships, the whole population giving themselves up to snowballing.
