'Lilac Time'. Is a romantic setting of the love story of Franz Schubert, whose lyrics and other classical compositions have as great a vogue in the musical world to-day as ever. Schubert ls depicted as a shy lover, who cannot express his passion for the woman of his heart in any way but through his music, and, not understood, he loses her to his bast friend. 'Lilac Time,' with its beautiful stage sets and lovely Schubert music, has a charming restfulness. Mr. Ivan Menzies will be ' seen in the role of the famous, composer. Others in the cast ' include Gregory Stroud, Evelyn Hall, Helen Langton, Richard Watson, Eileen Kelly, and Bernard Manning.
