THREE LOWEST TEAMS TOGO Relegations To Be Adopted

CLUB delegates to the Brisbane and Districts Football Association last night decided to apply the law of relegation to the three, and possibly four,

teams finisning in the lowest position of the premiership fixtures. Under the decision next season's first division will be composed of 12 teams, including the winners of this season's second division premiership. Should the Great Public Schools Club, as provided for in the constitution of the State Council, be formed for the 1938 season, four existing teams will suffer relegation. Otherwise three will go down to next season's second division. An unexpected move was the decision to remove all suspensions, other than life, imposed by the former Brisbane and Ipswich associations. The fixtures tor the first round on April 3 are: Y.M.C.A. f St. Helens, Latrobe v Merton Rovers, United Rangers v Shafston Rovers, Bundamba Rangers v Toombul United, Rosewood v Oxley Ramblers, Booval Stars v Milton, Corinthians v Christian Brothers. Matches will be played on the grounds of the first named team in each Instance. Fixtures covering the second division are to be drawn during the course of play at Lang Park on Easter Monday.
