BEN BOWYANG TOMORROW

Another Page Of Exploits In "The Chronicle"

Ben Bowyang made a "hit" last week when he made his initial bow to readers of "The Chronicle" in a full page series of comic strips. Here was some-

thing typically Australian, something really funny, and something interesting! to readers of every age. Ben is certain to become increasingly popular. Another page of the exploits of Ben Bowyang will appear in "The Chronicle" tomorrow. Ben is the latest feature to be added to the progressive weekly. Other good things in this week's issue are glimpses of the life of the Prince of Wales, real life stories of South Australia, true tales of eport, the counsel of Madame Wu on human problems, and the new magazine page, book of the week, and notes on the cinema world.

Honorary Members Of Aero Club All competitors for the "The Advertiser" £50 flying scholarship will be made honorary members of the Aero Clnb until the competition has been completed, which will probably not be until about the middle of January. Membership will he extended to those who have already competed, and to those who have not yet done so. In addition to being: free to make use of the clubrooms at Parafield and to enjoy all the privileges of ordinary club members, competitors for the scholarship will also be sent copies of the clnb's magazine, "Wing: Tips." An astonishingly large number of entries has been received from country residents, and every mail brings more. Some of the candidates will have to travel as much as 200 miles in order to compete. The competition, which is now in its third week, will close on December 12. Entry forms are obtainable from the secretary of the Aero Club. Ware Chambers, King William street.
