"Robbery Under Arms" To Be Included MELBOURNE, August 8.

The chairman of directors of Cine- <*> sound Productions (Mr. N.B. Rydge) said today that his company intended to spend £200,000 on the production of

Australian motion pictures in the next 12 months. The first five pictures will be "Mr. Cheriton Hits Out," for which Cecil Kellaway will return from Hollywood: "Gone to the Dogs," featuring George Wallace; "Robbery Under Arms," a screen adaptation of the Rolf Boldrewood story; "Further Adventures of Dad and Dave" and "The Haunted House." Mr. Rydge added that it was the aim of his company to produce an average of 40 Australian pictures a year. Its latest production, "The Broken Melody," was Australia's challenge to Hollywood.
