Arrangements For Visit Of East Perth Club

League football clubs will begin serious preparation for the 1936 Cen-<*> tenary football season this week. Port Adelaide had its first practice on

Thursday night. In accordance with his policy of keeping in close touch with the clubs, the League secretary (Mr. T. S. Hill), who attended the annual meetings of all the League clubs, will also be present at as many of the opening practice nights as possible. Tonight he will watch Glenelg players at training and on Thursday he will be present at the Showgrounds to see West Adelaide train. East Perth Visit Confirmation of the arrangements, previously announced, for the visit by the East Perth Club in July was received yesterday. The East Perth Club, on a visit to the eastern States, will reach Adelaide on July 14, and on the following day will play a match against a combined South Australian second team (the first 18 being absent tn Perth).
