MURGOO STATION.

Among our illustrations are a number of views of Murgoo station in the Mur-

chison district. The station, which comprises 402,960 acres of leasehold, was originally taken, up by Messrs. E. and F. Wittenoom about 1873. It consists of good

open saltbush plains and mulga country is excellently watered by shallow wells

and 23 windmills. The stock consists of about 19.000 sheep, 500 cattle, and 55 horses. The prices obtained for wool and stock compare favourably with any sta-

tion in Western Australia. The station is at present for sale.
