The area comprise* about 100 acre-, and is .situated about one mile from t he Clackline railway sta-tion, on the Eastern Railway. Tho de-posit ol' clay is extensive, is first-class, and has been to-ted to a depth of öllft. Tho .supply may be said to be inexhaust-ible. The brick,- are in use by the vari-ous Government departments, the Gas Company at Fr«'mantle, and by many of

The Clackline Company are erecting a down «tVauglit kiln .specially suited for burning tire bricks. Messrs. Patterson and Ross are tho contractors for tho work. The managing director for tho company is Mr. A. A. Hunter, who will in a very short time be able to supply all fire brick rcquinnents for W.A. The agents for the Company are Messrs.
