FREMANTLE LACROSSE CLUB.

The annual general meeting of the Fre-mantle Lacrosse Club was held last Friday at the Federal Hotel. Mr. Thomas, of the South Australian cricket team, presided. A discussion took place in reference to the formation of a second la crosse club in Fremantle in consequence of the club already in existence being too strong for any other club in the colony, and in order to give its numerous members a better oppor-tunity of indulging in the game. It was decided, on the motion of Mr. F. C. Win-grove, seconded by Mr. L. H. Wickstead, that a new club should be formed, under the title of the East Fremantle Lacrosse Club. The Fremantle club then proceeded with the election of officers, which resulted as follows:—Patron, Mr. W. J. Kohler; president, Mr. A.B. Kidson, M.L.C.; vice-presidents, the Mayor (Mr. J. McHenry Clark) and Mr. E. Allnutt; secretary, Mr. H. Howard; committee, Messrs. Wright, Jones, Lowe, the captain (to be elected at the opening match), and the secretary. Mr. L. H. Wickstead was elected secretary of the newly-formed East Fremantle Club, which will hold its inaugural meeting at an early date.
