W.A. FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION".

A meeting of the delegates of the Weet Australian Football Association was held, Friday week at the Court Hotel. There was a full attendance, and Mr. W. H. James presided. The Weat Perth, East Perth, and Central football clubs were admitted to the Associ-ation. It was resolved that the East Perth Club should play tho Fremantle Club on the 16tb, at Fremantle, and that the Rovers shonld, play the Weat Perth, on the same date, at Perth. The consideration of the fixtures for the ' season was left to a Bub-eomtnittee. Messrs. W. J. Croft and J. Jones were appointed field umpires. Mr. W. H. James proposed that Mr. A. E. Dixsou bo requested .to accept the office of President. Mr. Dixson was the founder of the'Association, and first brought the Australian rales into:-use. He. deserved well of all local footballers, and every honour passible should bo given him. The resolu-tion was carried with acclamation. Messrs. Everard Darlot, E. Keane, A;-Forrest,' and Alexander, were ; appointed vice-presidents', and Mr. W. H. James was appointed secretary. The business closed with a vote of thanks tb the Chairman. T I
