Club coaches are busily engaged in weeding- out possibles and probables from the numerous aspirants to league ranks. West Perth, which will be captained this

year by D. Marinko, with J. Morgan again vice-captain, has selected the following' 28 players to train: — Roberts, Benton, McGuckin, O'Keefe Tetley, P. Walsh, Fleming, J. -Grigg, Flegg, Morgan, O'Connor, Drew, Hoskins, Green, Anderson, L. Walsh, Tyson, .Marinko, J. McDiarmid, N. McDiarmid, Siviour, Ford, McGarry, Gregg, Dalziell, Rainoldi, McNaughton, and Kenna. -» Subiaco. Subiaco has narrowed its training list down to 32, as follows: — Rodger, Briggs, McCallum. Da vies. D. Ryan, Mackay, R. and L. Toll, Kelly, Stehn, Gilbert, Brown, Smith, Bant, F. and W. Brophy, Ahearn, Richardson, Mills, M. Green, J. Jennings, Mullineux, O'Brien, Strachan, O'Halloran, Daniels, Merson, P. Snashall, J. Edmondson, Bowe, S. Daily, and Strack. These players are asked to attend a players' tea tomorrow night, and those not selected should train with the association team.East East Perth. East Perth's list is as follows: — H. Baker, R. Mather, S. Miller, L. Orr, A. Oswald, M. Ryan, H. Screaigh, J. Wood and J. Sweeney. Names of country players who will be considered for selection are not included in this list. Other players who have not been selected in this training list are requested to practice with the association team on Monday and Wednesday evenings.
