Makeham, Richard Squire, eldest son of Richard Gawthorpe, Los Angeles, Cal., U.S.A., to Evelyn, eldest daughter of Thomas Wardle, of San Francisco, Cal., U.S.A. DEATHS. ARZAROLI.—On the 24th November, at 394 Pirie-street, Boulder, Mar-gherita, the beloved infant daugh-ter of Anthony T. and Alice Arza-roli, aged 5 months. COCKS.—On November 21st, at Brandesbury, London, Mrs. A. B. Cocks, beloved mother of Mrs. E. F. Plomley and S. H. Cocks. DYER.—On September 21, at Car-rington-street, Adelaide, Harry Mit-chell, the dearly beloved son of J. L. and M. Dyer, aged 28 years. Deeply regretted and greatly loved by all who knew him. Aged 25 years. HAWKESWORTH.—On November 18 at Perth, WA., Norman Dove-nor, son of the late Alfred Hawkes-worth, St. Kilda, Victoria, and dear-ly beloved brother of Mrs. L. A. Thistlethwaite, Claremont, and Mrs. D. Drummond and Mrs. J. T. Gib-son, of Kalgoorlie. McLAREN.—On November 5th, at Merewether, N.S.W., Peter, the beloved father of Mrs. A. Gilles-pie and P. McLaren, of Brown Hill, aged 63. Not dead, but sleeping. Newcastle papers please copy. PELLEW.—On November 19, at his residence, Macdonald-street, Kal-goorlie, Joseph Henry Pellew, aged 50. WOOD.—On November 25, at "Hed-ingham," Caulfield, Victora, Eliza-beth Wood, widow, of late Frederick William Wood, and dearly beloved mother of Frank Stepto and Her-bert Edward Wood, of Kalgoorlie. IN MEMORIAM. ANTHONY.—In loving memory of John, the only dearly beloved son of J. and L. Anthony, who died November 25, 1897, aged one year and five months. Of such is the Kingdom of Heaven.
