ESPLANADE IMPROVEMENTS.

The octagonal refreshment kiosk and dressing rooms (five for men and one for women) facing the Esplanade, close to Barrack-street. The contract price was £5,991. Tenders are being called for the leasing of the premises, which the council is confident will return more than interest on the expenditure, notwith-standing adverse criticism. The architect was Mr. L. B. Cumpston.
