months ending. 31 st-December, 1851, amount to ¿G63- Is». Od.. making a total of £550 fis. 3d. now in' the hands of the Trea-surers. One-half of the term of three years, during which it was proposed that the subscrip-tion should continue, has now elapsed ; and it is matter of thankful acknowledgment, that the eighteen months' collection has produced (in addition to the funds' previously in baud) no less a sum than £410, ót which lather moie than half* has been contiibuted within the parislr. Under the present xiircmnstanoes of the colony the commencement*of-tl»e<.building, which bud been "hoped for" about this" time, is * evidently ' impossible: but subscriptions to the fund will still be thankfully received.
