IMMIGRATION OFFICE.

6th July, 1842.

The Orleana, from Plymouth, having arrived at this port with Immigrants under the General System, (that is to say, under the authority and guidance of Her Majesty's Colonial Land and Emigration Commissioners resident in London,) the following list of the heads of families, male and female, and of male and female single adults, open for selection, is published for general information.

The whole expense on account of passage money, as well as all contingent expenses whatsoever, have been defrayed by the Government, and will always be so de-frayed under the General System ; the Orleana being the first ship under that system.

Applicants desirous of engaging servants will make their own contracts ; and the undersigned will attend on board the ship between the hours of 11 and 2, to pass the

servants.
