"Fake Nylon Shirts

In Australia"

SYDNEY, Tuesday.

A spokesman for Australian, shirt, manufacturers warned to-day

that counterfeit nylon shirts were "being sold in Australia.

The ''spokesman, Mr. H. C Christian, president of the Apparel Manufacturers'' Association of ' N.S.W., said that the Australian public was being fleeced by the sale of shirts apparently made in Hong Kong and branded 100 percent, nylon" " and 100 percent du pont nylon." .?

Mr: Christian said that chemical analyses showed that the. shirts, contained 119 nylon and were actually made of rayon.

"The shirts are being sold by retailers, both large and small Willoh suggests that enormous quantities of these fake shirts are being distributed," he said.

materials."
