1951 Radio Awards

SYDNEY, Sunday.

The Sydney actress, Miss Neva Carr Glynn, won the Macquarie award for 1951 for the best fe-male lead for her role in the radio play "If This Be Error."

The award for the best male lead went to Melbourne actor, Mr. Robert Peach, for his part in "Francis, the Talking Mule."

Awards for supporting roles were, Female, Miss Wendy Play-fair, of Sydney, for her part in "If This Be Error," and male Mr. William Lloyd, of Melbourne, in "Who Goes Home?"

The best comedy award went to Miss Gwen Plumb, of Sydney, for her role in 'Adam's Rib."

Awards were announced to-night over Station 2GB.
