MISS GWEN MUNRO'S ILLNESS

Production plans at Clnesound Studios for "Orphan of the Wilderness" have been com-pletely changed this week, owing to the illness of Miss Gwen Munro, who plays the leading role in the film.

Although she had been feeling very ill for several days. Miss Munro insisted on working on the circus scenes, and finally collapsed on the set on Thursday night. She was taken to Charlemont Hospital suffering from a severe chill. Although she is now considerably im-proved, she cannot continue her work for several days, and production at the Bondi Studios is at a standstill. All indoor "shots" that do not require Miss Munro were com-pleted on Friday and Saturday.

As the picture is now four days behind schedule. Mr. Ken Hall has decided to finish outdoor "shots," and will leave to-morrow with several members of the company for Burra-gorang Valley.
