SIX NATIVES. STRUCK

DARWIN, Monday.

Six natives were struck by lightning, last Friday night at Gogo Station, 30 miles south of Fitzroy Crossing, which is a tiny settlement in the West Kimber-leys, about 200 miles east of Derby, W.A..

The natives were severely burnt and one of them was still unconscious when put on a truck on Saturday.

One of the natives made his way to Fitzroy Crossing Hospital and was treated for a six inch burn.

A flying doctor aircraft 'was asked to wait at Fitzroy Cross-

ing on Saturday until five natives could be brought'Into Fitzroy by truck from Gogo station.

The truck broke down and the

plane was unable to wait.

It is believed that the natives were taken to Fitzroy Crossing Hospital on Sunday for treat-

ment.
