Koala Park's

Founder Dies

Mr. Noel Burnet, the founder and proprietor of Koala Park, West Pennant Hills, died at his home there

on Wednesday at the age of 49, after an illness of some

months.

Mr. Burnet founded Koala Park, a sanctuary for native animals, 22 years ago.

For many years the park was the only place near Syd-ney where koalas could be seen at close quarters.

Mr. Burnet is survived by Mrs. Burnet, three sons and a

daughter, who intend to carry

on the management of the

park.
