NEVER SAY DIE FOR
STUD WORK
LONDON (A.A.P.). - The Derby and Leg-er winner. Never Say Die, will he re-tired to the stud immediately.
The colt's American owner, Mr. A. S. Clark, informed the trainer, J. Lawson, of his deci-sion by telephone from Paris.
He has not yet announced whether Never Say Die will go to his stud in America or re-main in England.
Never Say Die's immediate engagements had included the Newmarket St. Leger on Octo-ber 1, and the Champion Stakes at Newmarket on October 14.
The three-year-old was bred in America by the English sire Nasrullah out of Singing Grass. -~ He had won £31,147 stake
money in England.
