It was their fifth attempt at the

I . crossing.

The Carlins came ashore at Cape ; v Juby, in the Spanish territory of Rio

de Oro, on February 23, and then i drove overland to Casablanca.

! They left Halifax, Nova Scotia, on i July 19 last year to go round the Í world in their 24ft. craft...They called ; at the Azores, Madeira, and trie : Canary Islands on their way acrosi ! the Atlantic. .
