NOMENCLATURE OF STREETS. DERIVATIONS OF LOCAL NAMES. Some correspondence recently appeared in these columns on the subject of the names of local streets. We are indebted to the courtesy of the Government Statistician, Mr. M. A. C. Fraser, for the following lists of some of the principal names of streets in and places in the vicinity of Perth andremantle, showing the origin of the names.
