"OUR TOWN"

Repertory Offering

In Repertory's next offering, "Our Town," Thornton Wilder lays bare the soul of a typlcal New England village with a moving and quietly philosophical play that defies classi-fication. This will be the third Pulitzer prize play produced by James Pratt, the other plays being "Street Scene" and "You Can't Take It With You." Several popular players from these successes have been included in the cast. The principal roles in a large cast of 35 are taken by the following artists: Pauline Griffin, Gwen Cox, Pearl Burbury, Patricia Stephens, Amy Neilson, K. W. Nicol-son, Stanley Burbury, Don Sharp, Henry Cos-grove, Peter Marshall, Max Gourlay, E. E. Unwin, W. E. Fuller, David Newell, Clive Stokes, J. Longeron, John Gibson, and Robert Hudspeth. The season of "Our Town" commences at the Playhouse on Sat-urday, March 8.
