FAREWELL TOUR

Visit To Cattle Station

DARWIN, July 9.

Having spent four days ' In Darwin, during which he Inspected the prin-cipal defence and civic developments, the Governor-General (Lord Gowrie, V.C.) left by air this morning to conr tlnue his farewell tour of Australia. Lord Gowrie, who was accompanied by Lady Gowrie, flew to Wyndham.

After a brief stay in Wyndham, His Excellency will leave for Argyle Downs station to enjoy his last experience In Australia of cattle station life. Their Excellencies will be the guests of the Durack . family, who pioneered tho Kimberley cattle-grazing district.
