TASMANIAN FILM

SYDNEY, July 31.

Referring to lila Intention to produce a film in Tasmania, Mr. A. Shirley, a Tasmanian, said the co-operation of the Tasmanian Government through the Premier (Mr. A. G. Ogilvie, K.C.) had allowed his company, Australian National Films Ltd., to proceed with its plans.

Mr. Shirley said he had always had an ambition to produce a film In his homeland. Tasmania's beautiful scenery was eminently suitable as a background for the dramatic and ro-mantic requirements ot the mystery story, "Wings of Love," which had been chosen for the production. Mr. Shirley produced the silent film "Thc Mystery of the Hansom Cab," which had a run of success.
