German Losses
ZURICH, Thursday.
The newspaper, "Arbeiter Zeitung," publishes confidential statistics drawn up by the German War Ministry, re- vealing that the German losses in Po-
land were 91,278 killed, 63,417 seri-ously and 85,938 slightly wounded.
Herr Hitler in a recent speech gave
the casualties as 10,576 killed, 30,222 wounded and 3,400 missing.
The newspaper adds that 190 Ger- man tanks .'were destroyed and 361 damaged, while aeroplane losses were
89 fighters, 216 light bombers, 107 heavy bombers--and nine observation
machines.
