EAST PERTH TOO FAST.

Easy Wm from Pcfth.

Playing much faster footbaU in most departments, East Perth won easily against Perth on Perth Oval on Saturday. A lead of 5.1 was eained by East Perth in

the first quarter and, despite determined efforts by some of Perth's playenTtbe result was never really in doubt. There were patches of good football, chiefly on the part of East Perth, but the game lacked fire. Perth battled hard and accurate kicking for goal enabled It to reduce the deficit to 2.11 at one stage in the third quarter, but East Perth drew away again. East Perth's side was not Its strongest, but Perth had most of its best players on the field. East Perth's high marking and pace were good but Perth had men who were evidently not quite in the best condition and needing a little more practice. - ? By Cronin, East Perth was set a fine example of clever, fast play at centre half -forward and McAllan gave a promising display as goal-sneak. Parry, Golding, Fugarly. M. Ryan, B. Ryan (until hurt), Thomas and Mussman were also in good form. For Perth Oliphant was the most consistent and effective and Love, Puddey (in patches), Gook, O'Callaghan, Wormald, Keightley, Burton, Trainor, H. Davey and Dewar, were the best of the others.
