BUSINESS ANNOUNCEMENTS. Mr. Charles Moore, the proprietor of the Coliseum Furnishing Warehouse, announces that he has decided to close this branch of his business here without the slightest delay. As will'be seen by our advertising columns, he intends to liquidate and convert the stock, consisting of furniture and house furnishings, into cash, as early as nossible. ' To this end the warehouse will be closed on the 4th, 5th, and 7th instants, to allow of the stock to be re-marked. The liquidation has been entrusted to Mr. 8. J. McGibbon, whose iistructions, it is stated, are to realise every article regardless of cost. It is claimed'that 'the public will thus 'have an excelle 4,opportunity of purghasing the he~ .furiniture procurable in the home and fboeign markets at specially low rates. The Criterion Cafe, which some few months ago was opened under the premises of Messrs. Holmes Bros., Haystreet, has, it is claimed, become a very popular resort for those who breakfast, dine, and take tea in the; city. The proprietor has the catering under his direct supervision, and everythinig, it is stated, is served up in the cleanest and daintiest way possible. The rogtps'have punkahs going when necessary, and. the comfort of patrons is, it is urged,; studied in every way.
