Brigadier-General Lamrock

SYDNEY, Friday.

The death occurred at a private hospital to-day of Brigadier-General John Lamrock, C.B., V.D., former secretary to the Moorefield Race Club. Lamrock, who is well known in racing circles in the Commonwealth, had a distinguished military career. He was one of the early members of the Hawkesbury race club, and acted as chairman and judge. After the war he returned to his position of secretary of the Moorefield Club. The funeral will take place to-morrow.
