Sir Stanley Cochrane, the High Sheriff of County Wicklow, in Ireland, who is now in the United States, announces that ho will offer a special purse for two days' matches on April 28 and 29 between Hagen and Sarazen, and Hutch-inson and Barnes, the present and former British and American golf champions respectively. The first day is to be a 26-holc best ball four-ball match, and the second day a medal competition of
36 holes.
