T^HE disparity, in the
cost of producing butter and margarine in their present quantities is surely no reason for saying the dairying industry is
doomed.
Would not any increase in margarine ^production ne-cessitate dependence on in-ferior raw materials and
cause a rise in cost and price?
A decrease in the price of butter would probably oblige the least efficient producers to leave the industry.
