to Michael

THIRTEEN-YEAR-OLD Michael Clyne, of

Horsburgh gve., Armadale, editor of Caulfield Grammar school magazine, has received a letter from the Queen.

Michael, who wants to become a journalist, published a special Coro-nation issue of the school magazine, and sent a copy to Queen Elizabeth.

He said: "It was a single sheet-roneoed on both sides. But we printed the issue on special glossy paper."

A few days ago he got a reply-signed by a member of the Royal Household," say-ing:

"I write at the Queen's command to thank you for

your kind thought in sending her a copy of your school magazine, which the Queen was interested to read."

Michael has had other letters from the Queen -when she was Princess Elizabeth

The first, in 1947, thanked him for sending best wishes for her wedding.

A second one thanked him for sending first birthday greetings to Prince Charles.

Michael Clyne has all the letters neatly framed. He said: "I took the last letter to school Everyone was ex-cited and very proud."
