"FISHER'S GHOST,"

The history of Australia is one full of what are known in the motion picture industry as scenarios, and so far an ex-tensive field of subjects suitable for mov-ing pictures has only been tapped. One of the pioneers of Australian motion pic-

ture production is Mr Longford-Lyell, who has produced such pictures as the Sentimental Bloke " and ' The Dinkum Bloke ' all of which have reflected credit on an Australian industry which is, so to speak just now develping from in-fancy into bovhood. Mr Longford-Lyell's latest production-"Fisher's Ghost"-was

privately screened at the Majestic Theatre yesterdav and it might safely be said that it is a picture that will sustain the good name gained by other films made in Australia The story is one of tragedy, mystery and romance, and the location is Campbelltown New South Wales. Two transported convict, "George Worrall"' (Robert Purdie) and "Frederick Fisher" (Fred Twitchen)-on being released after their arrival in Aus-tralila take up farms at Campbelltown and success is the lot of both.
